Pistol: Stance
No gear is required to perform the proper pistol shooting stance, however practicing in front of a mirror is always beneficial. Take your time and really tune into your body to ensure you are making those muscle-mind connections. If you have an injury or find that you need to adjust the stance to best suit your needs, do so. If you simply find the stance uncomfortable, I suggest you learn to find comfort in it. A solid foundation is the most important building stone in shooting.
Remember, if you are adding onto the stance and going into the draw cycle, start in the stance before you draw.
Train hard, train safe, remember to enjoy the process.
